Inspired by professional breakers, Cypher seeks to enhance the dancers experience through user centric design addressing both aesthetic and function.
Existing designs demonstrate minimal considerations for dancers including weight, breathability, and flexible supports.
Refinement included four distinct explorations merging functionality with artistic vision to uniquely represent the experience of breakers.
The final design includes a lightweight and breathable upper with exoskeletal supports offering both mobility and stability for the dancer.
